Book 3 - Map
Part 1 - Rooms
Chapter 1 - Cable car platform
The Cable-car platform is a room. "A rickety wooden platform is built on the edge of a cliff to serve as an station for a cable car ride up to the mountain. It overlooks a beautiful waterfall rumbling below.[if the diesel generator is switched on] The cableway is moving.[end if]
The road leads back east and the cableway's engine is in a shack just to the south."
The printed name of the Cable-car platform is "Cable car platform". [1]
Instead of meditating in the Cable-car platform when the player is not in the cable car or the cable car is open:
say "The rumbling of the waterfall makes it impossible to meditate here."
Instead of listening to the Cable-car platform:
try listening to the waterfall.
Instead of going nowhere from the Cable-car platform when the noun is west or the noun is southwest or the noun is northwest:
say "That direction is blocked by the cliff edge."
Instead of going inside when the location is the Cable-car platform:
say "(inside the cable car)[command clarification break]";
try entering the cable car.
Note
[1]. The room's name is hyphenated to avoid clashes with the cable car object.
