Clearing it with is an action applying to two things.

Understand "clear [something] with/using [something preferably held]" as clearing it with.

Understand "unblock [something] with/using [something preferably held]" as clearing it with.

Understand "push [something] with/using [something preferably held]" as clearing it with.

Understand "stick [something] in [something preferably held]" as clearing it with (with nouns reversed).

Check clearing with:

say "[The noun] [don't] need clearing." instead.

Does the player mean clearing something with the noun:

it is very unlikely.
