The walls are scenery in the Cell. It is unspecified, self-lit and plural-named. The description is "The gray stone walls surround you from all directions." Understand "wall" and "gray" and "stone" as the walls. The creature response of the walls is "'It's not very nice being trapped between four walls,' you confess.[paragraph break][The creature] shrugs. 'I only see three.'". The guard response of the walls is "'You have to let me out! I'm claustrophobic!' you beg.[paragraph break]'LIFE SUCKS doesn't it, but WHAT CAN YOU DO?'" Instead of listening to the walls: say "You put your ear against the wall and listen carefully. There's no sound whatsoever.[if the creature is present][line break][c]The [key walls]walls[endkey walls] are at least half a meter thick. You ain't gonna hear a thing,' [the creature] tells you." Instead of pushing the walls: say "You push, but the walls don't budge.[if the creature is present][line break][c]No surprises there,' [the creature] comments." Instead of looking under the walls: say "There are no cracks or anything else to look under." |
