The floor is scenery in the Cell. It is unspecified and self-lit. The description is "The stone floor is a dirty and cold." Understand "ground" and "down" and "stone" and "dirty" and "cold" as the floor. Instead of examining down: try examining the floor. Report touching the floor: say "It feels cold." instead. Instead of listening to the floor: say "You go down on your knees and put your ear against the floor, but you can't hear anything from below.". Instead of pushing the floor: say "You don't manage to push through." Instead of looking under the floor: say "You can't look [italic type]under[roman type] the floor!" Instead of climbing the floor: say "It's vertical. You can't climb that." Instead of getting off the floor: say "Yes, you would very much like to get off the floor and out the cell." |
