Understand "reach through/in [something]" and "reach hand through/in [something]" and "reach your hand through/in [something]" and "put hand through/in [something]" and "put your hand through/in [something]" and "feel through [something]" as reaching through.
Carry out reaching through something:
say "That's not something you could put your hand through."
