Oiling it with is an action applying to one thing and one carried thing. Understand "oil [something] with [something]" as oiling it with. Understand "oil [something]" as oiling it with. Understand the command "lubricate" as "oil". Rule for supplying a missing second noun while oiling: if the player can see the motor oil: change the second noun to the motor oil; otherwise: say "You don't have anything to oil [it-them of the noun] with." instead. Check oiling it with: if the second noun is not the motor oil: say "[The second noun] is not lubricant enough." instead. Carry out oiling it with: try pouring the motor oil on the noun instead. |
