Chapter Sweater
Gus is wearing a sweater. The description of the sweater is "[if gus is wearing the sweater]Gus wears a[otherwise]It's Gus's[end if] hooded blue sweater with white decorations. Understand "shirt" as the sweater.
Check wearing the sweater when the player is wearing the track jacket:
say "The track jacket is way too big to fit the sweater over it." instead.
Definition: the sweater is concealed if the player is wearing it and the player is wearing the track jacket.
Before dropping the sweater when the location is the Artist hangout:
let chair-target be a random chair in the location;
try putting the sweater on the chair-target instead.
Before traveling when the player has the sweater and the sweater is not concealed and the location is the Artist hangout:
say "One of Gus's goons sees you leave and points at you. Gus turns around and sees you [if the player is wearing the sweater]wearing[otherwise]with[end if] his sweater. 'Hey, whatcha think you're doing? That's my shirt, come back with it!' he shouts.[if the player is wearing the sweater][line break]'And take it off you! Can't you afford own clothes?'" instead.
After wearing the jacket when the player is wearing the sweater:
say "You put the jacket on and close the zipper so that you can't see the sweater under it."
Before taking off the sweater when the player is wearing the jacket:
clarify "first taking off the jacket";
silently try taking off the jacket.
Instead of moving to the stage when the player has the sweater:
say "Better not take Gus's sweater with you on the stage. He'd just score easy points for accusing you for theft."
Every turn when the player is wearing the sweater and the location is not the Artist hangout:
award 1 point for "stealing Gus's sweater";
change the hint list of the sweater to the table of stolen sweater hints;
change the hint list of the tag to the table of stolen sweater hints.
After putting the sweater on the corner table:
say "You put the sweater on the corner table. The spotlight lights it brightly."
Instead of putting the sweater under the spotlights:
clarify "putting [the sweater] on [the corner table]";
try putting the sweater on the corner table.
Check showing the sweater to Gus:
say "The sweater could come in handy yet. Better not let Gus have it unless he wrestles it from your hands." instead.
Instead of showing the sweater to Gus when "tag" has inspired us:
silently try taking off the sweater;
say "'I'll just leave this here,' you say.[paragraph break]'Good. Stop messing with my things!'";
try dropping the sweater.
Instead of showing the sweater to Joe Mahma:
say "'Can you read what it says in the tag?' you ask Joe Mahma. 'This is a problem you have to solve by yourself,' he zens."
Instead of showing the sweater to Norbert:
say "'Can you read the tag on this sweater?' you ask Norbert. 'Oh, I believe it's quite impossible, considering the state of my eyewear,' he says."
Check showing the sweater to Ralph:
say "Better not let him know you nicked Gus's sweater." instead.
Check showing the sweater to Vincent:

Check showing the sweater to Britney:
