Section 5 - Car controls
The control panel is in the cable car. It is fixed in place. The initial appearance is "[description of the control panel]".
Understand "controls" and "lever" as the control panel.
The description of the control panel is "[if the player is in the cable car]A control panel has been set to the wall opposite the door. It has a lever that most likely gets the thing moving.[otherwise]It's hard to see through the dirty windows but it seems like there's a simple control panel inside."
Instead of pulling or pushing or switching on the control panel when the diesel generator is switched off:
say "Nothing happens. [We] must get the engine that moves the cableway running first."
Instead of pulling or pushing or switching on the control panel:
say "The mechanism on top of the car latches on to the cableway and the car jolts on moving.
After a brief but scenic ride the car stops.";
now the cable car is closed;
now the cable car is in the Mountain top;
now the control panel is scenery;
try looking.
Instead of pulling or pushing or switching on the control panel when the cable car is in the Mountain top:
say "[We] [are] not going to go back now that [we] finally got here."
Instead of turning the control panel:
say "There are no knobs, only a lever."
Before exiting when the player is in the cable car and the cable car is closed:
say "(first opening the cable car door)[command clarification break]";
now the cable car is open.
Instead of going outside when the player is in the cable car:
try exiting.
