Chapter 7 - Washing

Washing it with is an action applying to two things.

Understand "wash [something] with/using/in [something]" as washing it with.

Understand "rub [something] with/using/in [something]" as washing it with.

Understand "rub [something preferably held] on/to/against [something]" as washing it with (with nouns reversed).

Understand the commands "clean", "dust", "polish", "scrub", "shine" and "wipe" as something new.

Understand the commands "clean", "dust", "polish", "scrub", "shine" and "wipe" as "wash". [1]

Check washing a clean thing with:

say "[The noun] [are] clean enough already." instead.

Check washing a dirty thing with:

say "There's not much to be gained by cleaning [the noun]." instead.

Does the player mean washing something with the noun:

it is very unlikely.

Note

[1]. These commands were originally synonymous to "rub" which would sometimes make the parser guess the intention wrong. Something like >CLEAN MYSELF would make it think that the player wants to rub themselves against something. Changing the verbs to point to the "wash" command makes them act more logically.
