Cutting it with is an action applying to one touchable thing and one carried thing. Understand "cut [something] with [something preferably held]" as cutting it with. Check cutting it with: if the second noun is the player: say "You're not sharp enough." instead; if the noun is the second noun: say "That can't cut itself!" instead; say "[The second noun] is not suitable for cutting." instead. Instead of cutting yourself: say "The situation is not that dire yet." [see the nail scissors for more] |
