Whimpering is an action applying to nothing.
Understand "whimper" and "bawl" and "blubber" and "howl" and "sob" and "wail" and "weep" and "cry" as whimpering.
Carry out whimpering:
if the cell is dark:
say "Oh well, no harm done, right? You let out a whimper.";
otherwise:
say "You whimper a bit.[if the creature is present][one of][insult wimpiness][or][stopping]".
