The creature can be expecting Scotty to wear clothes. The creature is not expecting Scotty to wear clothes. Before giving the clothes to the creature: if the player is wearing the clothes: say "(first taking the clothes off)[command clarification break]"; now every thing carried by the player is in the cell; now the clothes are carried by the player; if the glue remover is not handled: say "[one of]'Can I get anything for these?' you ask and offer your clothes to the creature.[paragraph break][The creature] looks at the clothes in disdain. [c]If I took them, it would mean [italic type]you couldn't put them back on.[roman type] And that's [italic type]very[roman type] unacceptable.'[paragraph break][c]Aww, don't sulk,[c] [the creature] says when it sees your expression. [c]Let's make a deal: you put your clothes back on and I'll give you something nice. Ok?'[or][c]Clothes on - you get a treat. That was the deal,' [the creature] says sounding grumpy.[stopping]"; the reminder about the clothes deal happens in three turns from now; now the creature is expecting Scotty to wear clothes; otherwise: say "[c]Look, we made a deal and you should keep it. I don't take extortion lightly,[c] [the creature] snaps."; stop the action. At the time when the reminder about the clothes deal happens: if the player is naked and the creature is not spoken: say "[c]Hey, remember the deal? Clothes on, monkey boy,[c] [the creature] reminds you." After wearing the adventuring clothes when the creature is expecting Scotty to wear clothes (this is the reward wearing clothes with a gift rule): now the creature is not expecting Scotty to wear clothes; say "You put your clothes back on.[paragraph break][c]That's more like it! Here you go,' [the creature] says and digs through the sack. It hands you a small tube."; hand the glue remover to the player.
